7.375% Sales Tax applies…………………………Cabins 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are equipped with mini-split air conditioners.
Full Hook-Up RV Sites
We only have one RV site for short term stays. It is only has 20amp electrical service (and water and sewer) and it is really close to Cabin 9. It does not have a fire pit or picnic table. It is most ideal for those who have other guests staying in a cabin.
Full use of resort and free firewood.
$65/night or $325/week
There is a Discount RV price if you have Friends or Family staying in a cabin:
$45/night or $225/week
Seasonal RV Site – $2225/season – comes w/ boat slip. We have only three sites, call for availability.
Lodge & Store
Our lodge store carries an assortment of light groceries and gifts, as well as live bait and tackle.
Premium boat gas is also available for sale on site.
10 Passenger Pontoon Boat (Green Pontoon)
Enclosed Pontoon with live well, depth finder, and canopy with a 70 hp motor to get you where you need to go.
• 6 hours – $90 + Gas (9am – 3pm or 3pm to 9pm)
• All Day – $120 + Gas (usually $5-25 in gas is spent)
• Weekly – $600 + Gas
8 Passenger Pontoon Boat (White Pontoon)
Open Pontoon which is great for fishing. This pontoon has a live well and canopy with a 20 hp motor.
• 6 hours – $75 + Gas (9am – 3pm or 3pm to 9pm)
• All Day – $100 + Gas (usually $5-25 in gas is spent)
• Weekly – $500 + Gas
50 HP or 90 HP Speed Boat
We have two speed boats available for rent for fun on the lake or they work for fishing and getting to your fish hole on the lake nice and quick.
• Day – $60+gas
• Week – $300+gas
SV14 Lund Boat and 6 HP Motor
• Day – $35+gas
• Week – $125+gas
These prices reflect the boat being returned clean. There is a $25 cleaning fee if the boat is not clean.
Dock Space
Birch Haven provides one free slip to guests renting for a week. A slip will fit a boat approximately 18 feet in length. Boats above this length may be charged an additional slip fee as they take up two slips. Discuss in detail with owners prior to reservation.
Guests renting daily may be assessed a fee for their dock space depending on the reservation.
The rates for extra slips are as follows:

Pontoon Rental Boat Rental Bemidji
Number of Guests
2 bedroom cabins are allowed 4 persons at the posted rate.
2+ or 3 bedroom cabins are allowed 6 people.
Campsites are allowed 4 persons per site.
We charge $10 per day for all guests over the posted number.
We do not charge for guests under the age of 2.
Minimum Rental Periods
During the peak summer season the minimum rental period is 1 week (7 nights, Saturday to Saturday). Outside of prime season guests must rent a minimum of 2 nights.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in time is 3:00pm and Check-out is 9:00am. Please respect these times because we have a lot of work to do between guests leaving and arriving. During Prime Season we can’t offer early check-in or late check-out. For non-prime reservations you may be able to have an early check-in or late check-out but please call to check if that option is available.
Deposit.
Deposits are due within 10 days of reservations. Checks are preferred for deposits (Credit Cards require a 3% processing fee.) Deposit amounts are $250 or half the reservation, whichever is less. Deposits should be sent to the resort at: 11801 Paper Birch Dr NE, Tenstrike, MN 56683. Please be sure to include your name, cabin and dates of reservation so we can properly assign your deposit.
Recurring guests reserving for the next season should place their deposit down by October 1 of the current year. We will send out a letter/invoice in September to help you remember.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are not refundable unless the reservation is re-booked at the same rate. A $50 re-booking fee will apply.
Refunds are not available for cancellations mid-reservation. The full reservation is due. The owners will do everything they can to re-book your room. At that point a refund would be available.
Boat rentals that are cancelled the same day are not refundable unless we find a replacement reservation.
Air Conditioning
Our cabins do not have air conditioning but there is a fan for each bedroom and we get great breezes off of the lake. You can rent a window air conditioner from us for $100 a week (subject to availability.) If you bring your own AC unit we will need to charge a $50 usage fee.
Reservation Information
All cabins are completely furnished except for personal items, dish towels, bath towels, and soaps. We provide bedding, toilet paper, and trash bags. We also have a Pack-n-Play and a few booster chairs for your little ones on a first-come first-served basis.
We have free Internet access for all renters. (ask at check-in for password).
Insurance Rules
All gas cans must be stored in your own boat or vehicle. No exceptions.
Children should be supervised at all times.
Tax
All rates are subject to Minnesota State and Beltrami County sales taxes (7.375%)
Convenience items in lodge and gas prices have tax included to make for easier cash transactions when necessary.
Pet Policy
- We do allow dogs with prior approval.
- Charge is $8.00 per day, per dog ($40 per week)
- Dogs must be leashed at all times, including on docks (getting in and out of boats).
- Feces must be bagged and disposed of
- Excessive barking will not be tolerated
- Dogs are not allowed in the swimming/beach area (water or sand).
- Dogs may not be left alone in the cabins unless in a kennel/crate.
- We also have some amazing local dog daycares that take great care of your dogs if needed
Specials
Specials and discounts must be claimed at the time of reservation. Specials can be combined to make one awesome vacation if they work out together.
RV’s
Seasonal RV sites do come with a boat slip but boats needs to be removed from the water when not using the RV.
10 Days for the Price of 7
The 10 days prior to Labor Day are not only priced at our off peak rates, but you are given 3 days for free. Call to inquire. The fishing is great this time of year, and the weather is beautiful. “Multi Cabin Rental” specials can be combined with this special for a great 10 days of savings.
