Cabin 9

Cabin 9 is a mobile home, a very clean and comfortable alternative for those who prefer the less rustic resort experience. Larger kitchen and living areas provide ample room for guests to enjoy one another as they vacation in the North. The Lodge, playground and dock are still plenty close, making your vacation pleasant and relaxing.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-In: 3:00PM

  • Check-Out: 9:00AM

  • Please respect these times because we have a lot of work to do between guests leaving and arriving. During Prime Season we can’t offer early check-in or late check-out. For non-prime reservations you may be able to have an early check-in or late check-out but please call to check if that option is available.

Reservation Info

  • All cabins are completely furnished except for personal items, dish towels, bath towels, and soaps. We provide bedding, toilet paper, and trash bags.
  • All cabins are equipped with air conditioning. 3-7 have mini split heat/ac units. All others have portable AC units.
  • We have free Internet access for all renters.

Pet Policy

  • We do allow dogs with prior approval. Charge is $8.00 per day, per dog ($40 per week).

  • Dogs must be leashed at all times, including on docks (getting in and out of boats). Dogs may not be left alone in the cabins unless in a kennel/crate.

  • Feces must be bagged and disposed of. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.

  • Dogs are not allowed in the swimming/beach area (water or sand).

Deposit

  • Deposits are due within 10 days of reservations. Checks are preferred for deposits (Credit Cards require a 3% processing fee.) Deposit amounts are $250 or half the reservation, whichever is less. Deposits should be sent to the resort at: 11801 Paper Birch Dr NE, Tenstrike, MN 56683. Please be sure to include your name, cabin and dates of reservation so we can properly assign your deposit.
  • Recurring guests reserving for the next season should place their deposit down by January 31 of the current year. We will send out a letter/invoice in December to help you remember.

Insurance Rules

  • All gas cans must be stored in your own boat or vehicle. No exceptions.

  • Children should be supervised at all times.

  • All rented boat operators must be 21 or older.

Cancellation Policy

  • Deposits are not refundable unless the reservation is re-booked at the same rate. A $50 re-booking fee will apply.
  • Refunds are not available for cancellations mid-reservation. The full reservation is due. The owners will do everything they can to re-book your room. At that point a refund would be available.
  • Boat rentals that are cancelled the same day are not refundable unless we find a replacement reservation.
